Attended a great workshop by Bill Fortney this past week!

This past week was spring break around Liberty U’s campus. Most students went someplace warm and sandy. But a few of us chose to spend our time walking around a 40-acre junk yard just north of Atlanta called, Old Car City. Old Car City is not your typical junkyard. They have over 4400 cars there, most sitting where they were put some 60 years ago! All left to rust out their days, left to naturally decay.

I, my son, Silas and three Liberty students: Dale, Adam and Danny all made the trip this year. We were attending a His Light Photo Workshop led by my great friends and Christian brothers, the legendary Bill Fortney and Jim Begley. The weather was great, in the mid-60’s and sunny, and the Christian fellowship was even better. The photographic opportunities abounded. There was no shortage of subject matter to choose from to shoot. Everyone came away with hundreds of great shots to process later. Here are just a few of mine below.
