Fun time on photowalk despite foul weather!

August 27, 2012

Photo students pause for a humorous group picture while on the photowalk. Photo by Mr. I

There were seven of us who gathered in downtown Lynchburg last Saturday morning for a photowalk through the historic district of Lynchburg despite the rain from a tropical storm that moved up the coast over the weekend. We had a fun time of fellowship and photography just getting to know each other as well as becoming familiar with our cameras.

Downtown L’burg PhotoWalk this Saturday!

August 22, 2012

Apples for sale at the Lynchburg community farmer’s market.–photo by Silas Isaacson, age 11.

All LU photo students are welcome to join me for a downtown photowalk this Saturday at 9am. This time will be especially beneficial to students who are new to working with their particular cameras. I will be able to help participants personally with their cameras, both film and digital. Come out and let’s enjoy an early morning tour of old, historic Lynchburg and also get to know one another outside the classroom. We will be meeting in the parking lot of The Depot restaurant on the riverfront (see map for directions) at 9am. Extra class credit will be given to those you participate. See ya there!
