Liberty U. photo schedule released for next fall–new class offered!

March 31, 2011

The Liberty University class schedule has just been released for the upcoming fall 2011 semester with some new additions and some time changes to boot. First, for the first time ever, there will be three different sections of Digital Photography, VCAR 361, on the schedule. This will allow more students to take this very popular and quickly filling class.

Another change you may notice, is that all VCAR classes are now two hours in length and meet twice a week on either a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday schedule. How these classes will mesh with the rest of one’s schedule remains to be seen.

A totally new class is also being offered for the first time, Photojournalism. It is listed as VCAR 497-02, Special Topics–Photojournalism, and is scheduled to meet M, W from 5-7pm.

Advanced Digital Photography, VCAR 461, as well as Basic Photography, VCAR 301 will also be offered.

All photography classes count as upper level electives, so get the word out, and tell all your friends! Remember, you can even minor in photography now at LU.
